Biography
The music of Simon Stevens.
SIMFORNIX is the alternative music project of British writer and producer Simon Stevens, combining reflective songwriting with electronic textures, acoustic warmth and detailed string and brass arrangements.
Raised in Alnwick, Northumberland, and based in Sidcup, Greater London, Stevens works through a deliberately human-led, AI-assisted process. He develops lyrics with AI support, shapes songs in sections and directs their structure, atmosphere and instrumental character. Suno contributes generated musical material and synthesised vocal performances sourced from his own voice, alongside other AI systems, custom software and studio tools.
The work lies in the decisions: selecting, revising and rebuilding material, refining arrangements, and exploring sound and effects until each track expresses the intended feeling. AI is a substantial part of the production process—not a substitute for creative direction.
