Privacy notice
Your information.
SIMFORNIX respects the privacy of people who contact the project. This notice explains what is collected, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Who is responsible
SIMFORNIX is the music project of Simon Stevens, who is the controller for personal information submitted through this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent to music@simfornix.com.
Information collected
The press enquiry form collects your name, email address and message. You may also provide your publication, station or company. The website may process limited technical information needed for security, delivery and aggregate service metrics.
Why it is used
Enquiry information is used to respond to you, manage press and music-industry correspondence, keep the form secure and maintain appropriate business records. The usual lawful basis is legitimate interests in corresponding with people who contact SIMFORNIX or taking steps you request before entering an agreement.
If you separately select the optional updates box, your email may also be used for occasional SIMFORNIX release and press updates. That use is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing the address above or using the unsubscribe method in a marketing message.
Retention and sharing
Ordinary enquiries are retained for up to 24 months after submission, unless an active professional relationship or legal requirement makes a longer period necessary. Expired enquiries are excluded and deleted during routine database activity.
SIMFORNIX does not sell personal information. Information is available only to SIMFORNIX and service providers needed for website hosting, database operation, security and communications. Those providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area using the safeguards required for their services.
Cookies and remembered details
SIMFORNIX does not add advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers. The enquiry form uses normal browser autofill where you have enabled it; SIMFORNIX does not create a visitor account or store a reusable contact profile on your device.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your information; object to or restrict certain uses; withdraw consent; or ask for a portable copy where applicable. You can make a request by emailing music@simfornix.com. SIMFORNIX may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
People in the UK may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. People in the European Economic Area may contact their local data-protection authority. Other local privacy rights will be respected where they apply.
