The project

Electronic and rock music built through direction, selection and sound design.

SIMFORNIX is the hybrid Electronic / Rock project of British artist and producer Simon Stevens. Drawing on a background in sound design and engineering, Stevens combines custom AI-assisted tools, synthesised vocals derived from his own voice, synthesis, conventional production equipment, detailed editing and established production techniques.

The sound

Rock weight. Synthesised voice. Engineered detail.

Dense electronic textures meet distorted rhythm, constructed vocals and the physical energy of rock. The result is deliberately hybrid: precise without becoming sterile, synthetic without losing human intent.

The production process

Authorship lives in the decisions.

Each track develops through repeated cycles of creative direction, generation, rejection, reconstruction, arrangement, synthesis, layering, editing and engineering.

The synthesised vocals are created from Simon Stevens' own voice and directed through a human-led production process. Custom AI-assisted tools form part of the instrument set; Simon defines the concept, selects and reshapes material, builds the arrangement, designs the sound and makes the final creative and technical judgements.
